Since 2008, All Saints Eye Center has provided eye care for the Minnesota Twins. Each Spring approximately 40 major and 160 minor league baseball players have an eye examination by Dr. Zimm and his staff. The evaluations screen for medical problems as well as ensuring that the Twins are seeing their best.
Dr. Zimm has always had an interest in athletics and the Twins have been fantastic to work with, All Saints Eye Center greatly appreciates the affiliation with Major League Baseball.
Do baseball players really have exceptional eyesight? According to Dr. Zimm, the answer is yes. "These guys have unbelievable vision, the percentage of players with 20/15 or better visual acuity is much higher than the general population."
